Peaceful Warrior (shanti virabhadrasana) improves back flexibility and back pain, strengthens your legs, feet and abdominal muscles, opens the hips and stretches the arms. It lengthens and stretches the torso and spine. Keep your inner core engaged while practicing this pose to support the weight of your torso. Keep your feet firmly grounded to support a stable stance.
